Welcome to the Epsilon Chapter Website of Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority, Inc.

WE SHINE BRIGHTER TOGETHER!
Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority Inc. was founded on January 1, 2014, in Covington, TN. The founders of Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority Inc. envisioned a sorority determined to serve the veteran community and support its members through continued guidance, development, and sisterhood. What sets Alpha Gamma Xi apart from other organizations is the dedication to serve the community at large, the veteran community, and the continued dedication of its members to commit to the programs and initiatives set forth by the founders.

OUR MISSION
Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority, Inc.'s mission: To be the premier Sorority offering membership to current and past women of the armed forces. To provide programs and initiatives to these women so they can assist in accomplishing the vision of Service, Sisterhood, Stewardship, Scholarship, and Solidarity.
Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority, Inc., strives to be trailblazers in our military community with our veteran initiative SHERO, Sorors Helping to Excel and Restore Others. To develop women who will enrich their community and the lives of others. To foster an environment of shared understanding, goals, and expectations.
Our Foundation
The Gladiators
The Founders of Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority, Inc.
Our Five Gladiators chartered a course for camaraderie, community service, and a clear focus on the advancement of military women. They stepped out on faith with bold courage and enthusiasm, blazing a clear trail for members to follow. There were many times when their decisions weighed heavily and became weary, nonetheless, they stayed the course to form a strong bond and foundation that will not be moved. A foundation that is comprised of democracy, solidified with a part of each of their truths and beliefs, but most of all their faith. They are now and forever will be the Five Gladiators of Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority, Inc.

Our Programs

S.H.E.R.O. Initiative
Sorors Helping to Excel and Restore Others is our initiative to help empower and enrich the lives of our women veterans that may be displaced or in need, through philanthropic actions. AGXi Sorority, Inc. will be partnering with a variety of organizations that focus on veterans in order to fulfill our goals of Stewardship and Service. Through our goals and initiative, we hope to not only impact the lives of our veterans but those of our members by giving them monthly opportunities to serve the community and making a positive impact on the lives of those around them.
If you are in need of assistance or for additional information, contact our Philanthropy/S.H.E.R.O Director.

SWANS Outreach
Supporting Women and Nurturing Survivors, dedicated to serving those women who have dealt with domestic violence and sexual assault. The SWANS outreach program has the sole purpose of creating strength within and rebuilding the "broken" woman; no matter the crisis. A program in which all who seek a place of empathy, safety, and confidentiality can come - knowing that her sister will be there reaching down to uplift her. Together we can, and will make a difference! SWANS Outreach; A powerful yet humble group of women assisting in helping to rebuild a mindset of self-love, forgiveness, and empowerment! (Ruth 1:6)
